A huge thank you to all of our parents and families who supported our Macmillan Bake Sale this week. We were overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity, both in donating a fantastic selection of cakes and sweet treats and by coming along to the sale after school.

The event was a wonderful success, with families enjoying a wide variety of delicious homemade and shop-bought bakes while helping to raise money for a cause that is close to many people's hearts. It was lovely to see so many members of our school community coming together to support such an important charity.

Alongside the bake sale, we held our eagerly anticipated Staff Bake Off, and we were incredibly impressed by the standard of entries. Our staff showcased some amazing baking skills, producing a range of creative and delicious treats that made judging very difficult!

After much tasting and deliberation, we are delighted to announce the winner of this year's Staff Bake Off:

🥇 1st Place - Mrs Marsh

Congratulations to Mrs Marsh on her winning bake, and a huge well done to all staff members who took part and helped make the event so much fun.

Thanks to the generosity of our school community, we are pleased to share that the event raised approximately £140 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan provides vital care, guidance and support to people living with cancer and their families, making a real difference when it is needed most.

Thank you once again to everyone who donated, baked, attended and supported our Macmillan Bake Sale. We are incredibly proud of the way our school community came together to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
