Pupils and staff at our school swapped their uniforms for football shirts, national colours and sporty accessories as we kicked off a special World Cup-themed non-uniform day in support of our PTFA.

The excitement was clear from the moment students arrived, proudly representing teams from around the globe. From England shirts and national flags to creative football-inspired outfits, the school was transformed into a celebration of international sport and teamwork. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to unite around the shared enthusiasm that the World Cup brings.

As well as celebrating the spirit of the tournament, the day had an important purpose. Through generous donations from families, we raised valuable funds for the PTFA, which plays a vital role in supporting school activities, events and resources that benefit all pupils. These contributions will help enhance learning experiences and continue to build a vibrant school community.

Throughout the day, conversations buzzed with match predictions, favourite players and memories of past tournaments, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere in classrooms and communal spaces alike. Teachers also embraced the theme, adding to the sense of fun and togetherness.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and contributed so generously. Events like this highlight the strength of our school community and show how we can come together to celebrate, have fun and support a great cause at the same time.

We look forward to many more exciting events with the PTFA in the future!
