Our Eco Ambassadors have been hard at work this week as part of National Recycling Week, helping to make our school an even greener place to learn and play.

Throughout the week, the team has taken part in regular litter picks around the school site, helping to keep our grounds clean, tidy and free from rubbish. Their efforts have made a real difference and have shown great commitment to looking after the environment.

The Eco Ambassadors have also been encouraging children across the school to think carefully about their waste and make sure it is placed in the correct recycling and rubbish bins. By helping their peers to dispose of waste responsibly, they have been promoting good recycling habits and raising awareness of the importance of reducing waste.

To round off a fantastic week, the Eco Ambassadors organised a clothing collection with Sammy’s Project today. The initiative not only helps to recycle and reuse unwanted clothing, preventing it from going to landfill, but also raises money for both leukaemia research and our school.

We are incredibly proud of our Eco Ambassadors for their enthusiasm, leadership and dedication to protecting the environment. Their actions this week have demonstrated how small changes can make a big difference, and they have inspired the whole school community to think more carefully about recycling and sustainability.
