Our Reception children have been enjoying some fantastic imaginative play as part of their outdoor learning.

What began as a den-building activity soon transformed into an exciting rocket launch pad! Using their creativity and teamwork, the children worked together to decide on their mission before counting down from five and blasting off into space.

During their adventure, the young astronauts visited different planets, sharing ideas about what they might discover on each one. It was wonderful to see the children using their imaginations, developing their communication skills and collaborating so well with one another.

The children listened carefully to each other's suggestions, took turns sharing their thoughts and worked together to bring their exciting space journey to life. These valuable experiences help to develop confidence, cooperation and problem-solving skills, all while having lots of fun.

We are incredibly proud of the fantastic teamwork, creativity and enthusiasm shown by our Reception children throughout this activity.
